I'd love to be there--'twill depend on finances, child care, and so forth. Fingers crossed.
Work stuff
I'll be in San Diego for a trade show... The trade show is Sunday through Monday, although there's potential for booth setup duty on Saturday. I was already thinking about bringing wurd with me and visiting his friends in LA, so we could definitely do a party Friday or Saturday night, but I'll have to keep things in check if it's Saturday and I have to stand at a booth and look not-hung-over all day Sunday (and somehow make it back to SD from LA)

I helped organize such a party when the parents of a friend (who was in college) were out of town. It was the friend's idea, mind you.
Some people wound up throwing peanut butter at the ceiling fan. Among other things.
