In memory of Eric's (Osomatic, that is) mom

Hello all. I believe by now everyone has heard the very sad news that our own Eric (a.k.a. Osomatic) has lost his mother, Sally Black, to a battle with lung cancer. Many of you have expressed interest in making some sort of memorial contribution in her honor.

I understand that the family would appreciate donations sent to the Glendale Community Foundation, P.O. Box 313, Glendale, CA 91209-0313. Donations should be directed toward the nursing program in memory of Sally Black.

I had thought that, rather than inundate the Foundation with a large number of individual donations, it might be helpful to collect Predicator contributions together and submit them as one contribution, and I volunteered to coordinate this effort. To that end, I am asking anyone who wishes to contribute as part of the group to send me funds by PayPal no later than 12:00 noon Eastern on Friday, Feb. 1 (my e-mail address is alholm at umich dot edu). I will tally up the total and mail a check to the foundation after that.

I should note that if you wish to receive a receipt for tax purposes, you may wish to send your donation separately. However, whether you send it through me or separately, please e-mail me with your full name and mailing address so that I can forward a complete list of contributors to K.T. (a.k.a. byrne).
