Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas (garbonzo beans)
2 cloves of garlic
Lemon juice
Olive oil
Salt

As I said, this is a really basic recipe, but works great for a quick snack. I'm interested to hear what you guys have up your sleeve for variations on this theme.

Directions:

Drain can of chickpeas and place into blender or food processor. Peel and chop/press garlic and add to chickpeas. Pulse until coarsely ground, then add olive oil while pulsing until consistency is smooth. Add lemon juice and salt to taste. Serve with warm pita bread.
