Welcome to our first Pigskin recap of the season! Last season's sonnets proved a little kludgy and light on the details, so this year I've decided to go with one rhyming couplet (in iambic pentameter, of course) for each game, and an 11th couplet at the end for summary, preview or commentary purposes.

Cy benched the wrong RB, earned a Prothro.

The Iron Yuppies, frightened by the Ghost,
Benched their TE, whereupon they were toast.

The Steamers won our rookie coaching match

One of our ten winless teams is guaranteed to get back to .500 next week as the Beefalo Balls take on Grim And Frostbitten, and the Chicago Rhyparographers will have to defend their freshly-minted 1st place status in Caption This against Ghost of Roger Staubach, another team who scored a victory in Week 1.
