We should be EXCLUDING pitchers, because they can't hit the ball well. Also excluded:

-- National League Players
-- Blonds
-- Players With Brown Eyes
-- Left-Handed Players
-- Yankees

Agreed.
On the one hand I see hilker's point, but I also see what you're trying to get at--straight action without the frills, not so much mixed-genre stuff. It is making it harder to come up with choices, but hey. That's the point.
I think the rules are
I think the rules are carefully crafted to exclude one movie in particular which is inarguably the greatest action movie of all time.
We have been OVER this...
"Back Door Babes XIV" is not an action movie just because your mom gets some action in it.
Action, not adventure
Well, yeah, it's the greatest adventure movie of all time. There is a difference, and it's a fine-grained one. Although I'd also say it's arguably a better movie than almost any straight action movie ever made.
