That wraps it up for the regular season. The Chicago Rhyparographers were the lucky contenders to snatch our eighth and final playoff spot, as both of their primary rivals lost last week. Once again the general rule of "finish with a winning record and you'll make the playoffs" holds true, as every team over .500 is going, and every team under .500 isn't.

Other notable developments in Week 13 were the Beefalo Balls (perennial underachievers in Pigskin) not only winning an eighth straight contest -- thus sharing 2009's Silver Streak trophy with The Hooligans -- but actually surging ahead of that squad to claim the first playoff seed.
