It Could Have Been Worse, MNF edition
Yesterday's Monday Night Football contest between the Eagles and the Seahawks was a real bust. The score was 42-0 Seahawks with 14:00 left in the third quarter, and there it would remain for the rest of the game.
<Ajax> MNF should apologize for yesterday's game.
<Ajax> They should have flipped away and showed us one of the good ones from Sunday.
<kaz> Heh.
<stankow> "Folks, we're really sorry about this game. Instead of the fourth quarter, we now present an 'America's Funniest Home Videos' special featuring all crotch shots."
<Ajax> "...we now present the extended version of 'I Like It, I Love It', with the verses from all 13 weeks of MNF so far!"
...But surely it could have been worse. How? You tell us!

Here are some ideas I thought of instead of tim mcgraw's recap:
--Ozzie Osbourne attempting to read a text printout of the week's results, printed in 6 point font.
--Unintelligible Norwegian Death Metal played over a highlight reel.
--Have the week's recap done in the format of a Q&A with that guy who is T.O.'s agent. "Next Question!"
I would totally watch that.

I would watch the hell out of that. I might do it with the sound off, though.
